Your skin is the largest organ your body has. It houses the delicate, wondrous network that is the human body and it is your first line of defense against the harsher elements of this world. Taking care of your body's natural shield and honoring the remarkable work it does has become my pride and passion.

I am Joanna, mother to children of my own, and a grandmother, to the babes they went on to have. I am a military wife, equine enthusiast, practicing doula, aspiring herbalist and now blogger.

 Over the years I tried many lotions and potions, but none would truly nourish and respect my skin the way it deserved, often containing chemicals and additives that did more harm than good.
