Autumnal Equinox

Are you feeling it? That shift of the seasons? Sometimes subtle, sometimes fierce.

Along with a beautiful full harvest moon this year, it is once again time to say goodbye to Summer and hello to the Fall.

Autumn is my favorite. I can't wait for the chilly mornings and the scent of the crisp air. It's invigorating, and for me, the best time of year for soap making and creativity.

I also am getting my skincare routine in synch with the season. Less humidity and drops in temperature equals = DRY SKIN! Time to increase nourishing oils and hydration.

I do need to remind myself to keep as hydrated in the cold months, as I do in the warmer ones- This means your skin too!

Starting now, will give you the jump start you need before you are dealing with dry chapped skin in December.

I have incorporated a routine of "dry brushing" my skin -EXFOLIATE!- before a shower or bath (at least 3-4 times a week) and following it up with a body lotion bar. Wonderful, especially before bedtime.

My sensitive skin is truly appreciating this. I think yours will too!

Choose what works best for you! The important thing is to take the time to nature yourself- It's been quite the year (plus!)

All my soaps, lotions, and Beeswax Body Lotion Bars have been tested out by friends and family and are definitely "sensitive skin" approved- They would tell me, if not ;)

If you would like to give my products a try, you can find them at:

Sending you all warm wishes and a beautiful and restorative Autumn!

Take care,

J. xo
